Dr. Kevin Sipprell is an emergency physician with Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1992. Completed residency in Emergency Medicine from Regions Hospital in 1999. He has been the ALS Medical director for Ridgeview Ambulance Service since 2000. He also provides medical direction to multiple other BLS and EMR agencies. He is Board certified and both Emergency Medicine and EMS. Dr. Sipprell’s interest in medicine began after college while working as a research scientist in the departments of Cardiovascular surgery and Radiology studying the biochemistry of heart attacks. His passion for emergency medicine and EMS became clear after becoming a member of the Mound Fire Department. He stayed active on the department all through medical school and residency for a total of 20 years, and still enjoys occasionally responding with them as their EMS medical director.
